small flower bag

In this season, you can see TSURUSHIkazari in many places. it is cute decoration.

This decoration was originated in three regions of Japan. Now, it is boom to make them from several years ago.

The last picture turushikazari,  is my mother in low sawed. The decorations in the middle  is I and my friends sawed, and donated.
Every small parts has meanings.



My mother  had a  small bell flower bag,  to put  in ivory pics of koto (kind of music instrument ).  My grand mother made it for my mother. I always envied to have it.



So, I made small flower bags. Do you like this?
Strawberry bag is easy to make.
Flower bag  , it need a little patients.
You can keep small things in it.

If I have purple, I can make bell flower bags.


Most of woman made this kind of things, when sawing  kimono.
After sawing kimono, they kept t small pieces of cloth, of kimonos,  and  used to make them.

(I haven't seen selling.)

cycling around Palace

Usually,almost every Sunday,  from 10:00 to 15:00  you can　ride bike around Palace.

Ir is said 'Palace Cycling'. The reception is near Nijubashi station, in front of Kokyo mae Police Box.
It is  small hat.

They rent us a bike for free.  you must write your name and hotel you stay there. It is fun to ride on.

It is  kind of learning traffic rule, so, you must stop at red signal.


After cycling, I recommend you to eat mushi shabu  lunch at the restaurant ' ICHI NI SAN'. (means  one two three)

1050yen.

The restaurant is in  Hibiya . ( there are branch, at ginza, shiodome as well)

Oder of Zori

I ordered Zori　in GINZA, traditional footwear shop of kyoto.
I chose base color among varaety of sample. (dai. I chose shining light purple)

and after that, colour of hanao ( I chose white)
 maetubo ( I chose pink red).

We can chose  4 colour .
So, if you want to order, you can order, french flag zori, german flag zori, italian flag color zori.

It takes 2monthes to be finished.

It costs from around 25000yen.

You can order it in GINZA, but the shop I introduce next, is cheaper.

There is a getashop 'hasegawa'  in front of Post office of ASASKUSA, 

Chose 'DAI' and chose  Hanao.

They make your own geta, while you are walking  ASAKUSA.

It will be under 7000yen. I think. ( it depend which dai you chose.)

Bonsai in State Guest House

Government opens people states guest house once a year for usually 10 days.

We must apply by post card to the government to enter there.
. This place is very beautiful.


They decorate this place by many kind of BONSAI when they have guests.

We can see Bonsai , which are take care more than 100 years there.

We can see states guest house in this TV.

iki zukuri

I went yokosuka.
There, I went a resturant .
At that restaurant, there are a menu of 'IKIZUKURI'

The restaurant have their aquarium by their own, and after the order, they catch Japanease  jack macarel, and devide so first.

So it lives after devision. It moves on the dish................

wow.....

carp, octopus,jack macarel, shrimp,  there are several species whiich can be ikizukuri.
