jyo namagashi

I bought cute  jyo namagashi at Kamakura. (shop name is misuzu)
I must order in advance. one piece 250 yen, total  1580yen.

these sweets chenges its shape every month.

toraya jyo namagashi is one piece 420yen, so, this shop is reasonable.
You can order jyonamagashi, at traditional  sweet shop in town.

yae zakura

I went to　SHINJYUKU　GYOEN  to see　八重桜　yae zakura. ........cherry blossom which has many petals.


On TV news, in spring, they say that cherry blossom bloomed now.... that means SOMEIYOSHINO.

This year, someiyoshino was beautiful around  7-9 April in Tokyo.

After someiyoshino , Yaezakura blooms.

I went to shinjyuku gyoen, it is in central tokyo. And there are many yae zakura.

Shinjyuku gyoen, is  good park to enjoy flowers.
Many comes to have outside lunch.. but drinking  is prohibited. manor is good.

Mikimoto ginza

 I went to small exhibition at MIKIMOTO HALL Ginza, .

Many tourist come to Ginza, but they don't know sometimes there are small  gallery  at MIKIMOTO (this shop is famous for pearl ) 6th floor.

It is free to look, so, you can go into the pearl shop, and ride on the escalator, and look around the gallery, and  after that, you walk down on foot.. and at another floor,  you can glance more than 10000000 yen pearl necklaces.....

( attention, they sometimes do exhibition ,.. not always. )

Now , this month,  we can  see antique kimonos and obis , which has 'rose  pattern'  around more than 50 years ago.  That era use to be the golden age of kimono. There are many fashionable patterns, which has western atmosphere.

At that time roses were very modern flowers.
This is cute, good exhibition, worth to visit.


Of course, I walked down the floors, on foot.

Wako, which is famous building which has clock tower, of GInza, has gallery on higher floor as well. they sometimes do good exhibition. Pottery, kimonos, Urushi works etc.. and they sell that.

GINZA CHANEL, HERMES, POLA, SHISEIDO,,,they have gallery as well.  Sometimes you can see modern art  free.

Japanease motif T shirts

I wanted to buy Japanese motif T shirts.

We can find some easily  everywhere, but good quality T shirts is limited.
Just Japan OMIYAGE  souvenir type, I don't want.

I wanted to buy pagong shop one, but this shop is in KYOTO, I don't go there often.


This one year, they open in UENO, near AMEYOKO, so I went there and bought one.

Don't you think this is cute?

I checked the price now,,,,English online shop is more expensive than the usual shop.

I bought this shirts ( M, lady)  for 8825 yen.
