candy

I found candy of lunch box style.
I was surprised.

(.......But there are similar candy traditionally. We sometimes  decolate this kind of  cute candies at girls festival on March 3rd)

Yes, they are usually at the souvenir shop. I found that at the souvenir corner of the restaurant.

Do you know the star shaped candy which is in the gohan's place?they are 'KONPEITO'

It(confeito originally) was introduced to Japan by the Portuguese trader.
I don't know konpeito, castella (
cake like sweets introduced from Portuguese around 1600 ), are still exist in Portugal.
