FUKI

FUKI is spring taste vegitable. A little bitter.
We can buy fresh one only spring time.
I cooked this.

Tomato picture above  is fruit tomatos.
There are many kind of tomatos in Japan, but 'fruits tomato '  are veryvery sweet.
Fresh Onion on spring  time , we call 'NEW ONION'(shin tamanegi).
 I sliced this , and eat as salad.

There is a song  'OBENTO BAKO NO UTA'. (lunch box song).Every kids know this song.
This song is one of the traditional song, so, menu of the obento are old.
FUKI is in the last part.
I think kids don't like fuki, but may be kids eat this because of this song.
