May 5th is KODOMO NO HI.(children's day)
Originally Tango no sekku. Boy's day.
We display KOINOBORI ( carp streamer) and KABUTO(samurai's helmet)
take a bath of SHOBU YU ( bath with sweet flag)
eat kashiwa mochi ( mochi sweet, covered 柏 leaf） or chimaki.
shobu is another word, game , match, have a fight... this kind of word, so this is manly.
kashiwa leaf is always green, and this leaf doesn't fall down until new leaves come out.
