japanease needle

There are variety of needles  for hand sawing in Japan.
For silk, for cotton, etc...
Sawing kimono , it is hand sawing usually. If the needle bent, it must change needle becasuse it cannot saw straightly.

they say scissors in Japan is special.
we use this for cutting yarn.

DONVIE ..Ice cream maker

During long summer vacation time 、I used to think what to do with kids every day.It was fun to make ice cream with kids.
Now, children are grown,   I didn't  make icecream by myself for long time. but I did today.

 I made maple ice cream.
This is just a toy, but we can make ice cream by the ingredients we can trust.

We can buy electronic ice cream maker of Panasonic, Kaijirushi, delongi not expensive  price.
Ice cream maker like  Donvie  were sold by  another company.

GO-YA,( gouya, nigauri) is most bitter fruit in  the world.

This fruit is originally  eaten in OKINAWA I think..
When  I found  at the market in MIYAZAKI, kyusu,  I was very surprised, but now we can find this at the market during summer time.

This dish  is GOYA CHANPURUU. Special dish of OKINAWA.
If you want to eat this in Japan, you must go to OKINAWA restaurant.

Fry with gouya, moyashi, egg, pork , and momen tohu.
Frying goya and eat with egg and tofu, makes soften the bitterness.


This bitter goya waken me up  from moistly hot summer.
