
GO-YA,( gouya, nigauri) is most bitter fruit in the world.
This fruit is originally eaten in OKINAWA I think..
When I found at the market in MIYAZAKI, kyusu, I was very surprised, but now we can find this at the market during summer time.
This dish is GOYA CHANPURUU. Special dish of OKINAWA.
If you want to eat this in Japan, you must go to OKINAWA restaurant.
Fry with gouya, moyashi, egg, pork , and momen tohu.
Frying goya and eat with egg and tofu, makes soften the bitterness.
This bitter goya waken me up from moistly hot summer.
