Ikebana , it is famous as a Japanease traditional culture.
Please notice , there are several schools of ikebana.
Ikenobo, sogetsu, koryu. ohara etc..
These picture Ikebana style is IKENOBO.
ikenobo is the oldest style.
( ike means pond. bou means sangha, or temple.
temple is usually near pond, they say.)
ikenobo created the style of decorating flower at the temple guest room, or hall.

Sometimes , we can see the exbition of ikebana, at city hall. department store, or many places.
For, people who learns ikebana, , have chance to show their skill to public.

I've always liked Ikebana since i started to be interested in japanese culture.
I think that is beautiful "making art" with flowers.
Everytime that i see ikebana i have a nice feeling,flowers make me
happy^^
there are some style among ikebana school.
I recommend to visit exhibition first.
Please look this picture. Ikenobo.. they uses almost same vase. Do you notice this?
