shiso

Shiso is one of common herb of summer in Japan.
There are two types of shiso, red and green.

Red shiso, we use to color Umeboshi, pickled plum. It turns really red.

Green shiso, we often use for cooking.
I used this 'shiso  to kyabetsu no shio momi'   salted cabbage and shiso.
